Slowroast Sewer is the second level in AntonBlast. It takes place in a big sewer.

General[]

As the name implies, it is a sewer. This level showcases mechanical walls, pipes, Beels, and rats. It also features the water currenty mechanic, which by interacting with water wheels, can open mechanical doors which are blocking the way.

At the end of the level, a big machine with an angry face is activated by triggering the Happy Hour clock, causing it to put fire at the sewer and burn the place down.

This level also introduces first transformation, Sewer Shark Mount. Allowing Anton to ride a shark at high speeds. It can charge to destroy 1Ton blocks.

Detonators[]

The Yellow Diamond detonator is found in the very first room of Slowroast Sewer, "Down the Drain" in the background layer.

The Red Heart detonator is found in the background layer of the room "Hydroelectrickery". In order to activate it, the player has to open the passage in the same room by triggering the water wheel and then go through the room "Water Displacery", there the player will be able to access the background layer of Hydroelectrickery and activate the detonator.

The Green Club detonator is the last detonator required to be activated in Slowroast Sewer. It is found in the room "Blast Pit". Once activated, it also activates a rocket.

The Blue Spade detonator is found in the room "Soggy Hideaway", during Happy Hour. Go down to the bottom left, where a small crack at the bottom of the wall, in the water, is present in the room "Eel Alley". Clutch through it, and go down the hall on the other side. There are green splatters on the wall, as if you go here before Happy Hour, there are Green Club blocks blocking your way. Go through the door at the end, and there is the Blue Spade detonator. This is only used for finding Paul.

Collectables[]

The spirit is found in the room "Boiling Point," near the Spirit Timer. It is a toilet plunger filled with presumably water, with bat wings and eyes.

The cassette tape can be found in the room "Condemned Conduit". To access it, you must continually clutch jump on the multi-colored bricks into a small opening with the cassette.

The spray can is found in the room "Keep Your Fin Up". To collect it, you must go past the third waterfall and keep going to your right. It turns Anton/Annie and the Sewer Shark grayscale.

The memento for this level is the Trash Banana. By accessing a secret entrace in the room "Storage Wars," you can access the room "Powerstation Pandemonium". You need to destroy the bowling pins in order to collect the Trash Banana.

Secrets[]

After getting the Blue Spade detonator (Explanation in Detonator section), backtrack to where you entered Eel Alley during Happy Hour. Go through the door and find your way towards the Hydroelectrickery room. In there, go into the dumpster past the red splatters into the room Water Displacency, then do a precise clutch jump up to the waterfall entrance. In that room will be Paul in front of some blue splatters from the Blue Spade detonator explosion.

  • In the trailer for the Dynamite Demo, a sewer shark was in the second room of the level.
  • At Pax West, the background was a brighter purple.

  • The song could have taken inspiration from "Smooth Criminal" because of the melody.
  • The font used for the title card alongside Cracked is "Coffeehouse"
  • Also at Pax West, in the first escape room, there were originally four Biggiebusters
