Danton, in the outro cutscene, moments before disaster happens and all his efforts go in vain
Description[]
Danton is a character that originally appeared in Antonball Deluxe. He makes a small appearances in AntonBlast in certain parts of some levels and is "maimed" whenever he appears, as Nina's stat says. He is 46 years old as seen in art made to hype up DLC #1 during the Kickstarter days.
Appearance[]
Danton is a man with a water green skin; blue cap and shirt and black hair, eyebrows and mustache. He wears glasses and suspenders.
Relationships[]
Nina[]
Unlike Anton and Annie, who are simply roommates, Danton and Nina are a married couple. While some artwork implies that they are a loving couple, the game's credits reveals that without Brulo, Danton quits construction business as they used their fortune to start a Marriage Counseling. It lists their Marriage Counseling Firm's slogan as "If We Can Make It Work, Why Can't You?", implying they might have some things to sort out.
Gameplay[]
Danton spawns in specific spots of almost every level, fixing something, when interacted with, he will die on the spot and drop a green poker chip upon defeat. He can also be seen in Peanut Park, preparing the boss rush room, as indicated by a sign nearby. Interacting with him now will make him say "It's not finished yet!"

Trivia[]
- Although it was possible for him and Nina to become playable if a stretch goal was reached, which it wasn’t, there is still a Spray that gives Anton his color scheme, and gives Annie Nina’s color scheme.
- Despite the rarity of Danton appearing, that unique green chip that was specifically made for him is worth 500 points like a red chip.
- Danton had originally green skin and purple/black overalls, as seen in Antonball Deluxe. He was changed into having a more lighter greenish blue skin and having blue/black overalls to better fit the Antonblast style.
- In one of the game files. Danton Small was in fact gonna be a playable character, he also has a shop sprite.
- Danton Small's name is an alteration of Anton Ball's name, simply adding a D for the first name and replacing the B with "Sm", in ways similar to playground insults (e.g Joe Schmoe). The last name rule also applies to Nina Smell.
- It is possible to avoid and spare Danton in The Mad Mall without waiting for the timer to run out. This also applies to The Mysterious Glasshouse and Pinball Mire.
- His Antonball Deluxe design appears to be based off Dan Backslide, The main antagonist of The Dover Boys, a Looney Tunes short, with a bit of Waluigi thrown in there
- He also has his own sprite in the lobby, but when coded in the game, interacting with him crashes the game.[1]
- He also has sprites of him talking and blinking.[1]
