Collectables[]

One of the stolen spirits is located in the room "The Crimson Citadel". Simply climb up the long ladder in the room and the Spirit will be on the way up.

The Cassette Tape is located in the room "Factory Furnace Funhouse". To get it, backtrack after losing the firework in the room "Cavernous Connection" by going up the ladder on the left. Go left through the room you have now entered until you reach another ladder, then go through the newfound section at the bottom of the room. Eventually you will reach the Cassette Tape.

The Broken Car is located in the room "Central Atrium". To get it, at the end of the room "Who Piston My Conveyers, fall down the hole between the two rings of fire. Then, avoid the cannon at the bottom and go to the right to find the Broken Car, where you will be complemented for your navigating prowess.

The Spray Can is located in the secret room "Sawdust Speedway", accessible from the room "Central Atrium". To access it, climb down the first ladder at the end of the first part of the room, where you go down two sets of ladders. On the platform, Clutch Dash to the left to unlock a dumpster, which you then jump in. You then must race a Ballbuster to the end of the room, and if it reaches the end before you, the Spray Can is locked off and you must restart from checkpoint to get it.

Secrets[]

Paul is located in the secret room "Central Control Panel". To access Paul, take a similar route as you would to find the Cassette Tape, backtracking to "Factory Furnace Funhouse". Except there is something to do beforehand, that being avoiding destroying anything at the top of the room while you run through it with the firework. Then, after backtracking and jumping back to the foreground, use a multicolored block to the left of the ladder down to boost yourself up to the ceiling, where you can stick. (If you destroyed that block, you can bounce off of the flying mole guys to get up there as well.) From there, do some fairly difficult platforming across enemies to reach a platform at the top left of the room. Go up and use the red dice block, then enter the dumpster to find Paul.

The Red Dumpster is located in the room "Pistonblast", where when you reach the first layer bouncer, avoid breaking the blocks above it, then jump on top of them. Jump onto the walls, where you will stick, then climb up. The Red Dumpster will be at the top.

Trivia[]

  • This level has the shortest Happy Hour timer, at only 1:45, assuming you have not bought a time extension.
  • The title card design is based off the cover for Pretty Hate Machine, a album by Nine Inch Nails.
  • The soundtrack of the level is used in the TAKE OFF YOUR SKIN video
  • As stated by JB Long in "My Experience as Designer". The chase against Mecha-Satan draws homage to Illumina, a mech built by Infinity Mijinion in Mega Man X6, which is considered to be notorious for being one of the bad Mega Man X Games due to it's unfair difficulty alongside it's recycled plots to the previous Mega Man X Games and it's poor level design *Cough* Blaze Heatnix *Cough*.
