Cinnamon Springs is the third level in AntonBlast.

Description[]

Cinnamon Springs is a level in the AntonBlast Dynamite demo 1 and 2, it is a frigid volcano with a temple around it, the temple shows pentagrams, which means it might be Satan's territory, it hase been said to be adjacent to Fudge Mountain

This level introduces Darumas, Tippin and Spittin Totens and the Tornado transformation. It is the first level to be released with Geysers and a different appearance to Pippos

During the first half of the level. It shows a red, pink, orange and yellow coloration, with aspects that resemble high temperatures through showing snow. The second half is in a temple, possibly of Satan's domain, as mentioned before. The background shows a blue coloration instead of a red one and the ambient and other temples can be seen in the background.

As mentioned before, Pippos are seen with a different appearance, their body and eyes is covered by light blue snow, named Snippos the only visible parts normally are the legs, leafs and beak. It is presumptive that they have been there for some time and evolved to keep themselves warm from the snow.

Like Boiler city and Pinball Mire. Cinnamon Springs became the victim of the Satan Switch due to the pentagrams on the temple.

Debut Enemies[]

Objects[]

Detonators[]

The Red Heart detonator is right at the start of the room "Moist Movements". It is used to unblock some water springs and maim Danton.

The Blue Spade detonator is found at the bottom of the room "Cinnamon Closet". It is used to unblock a passageway in the previous room.

The Yellow Diamond detonator is located at the top of the room "Slippery Climb". It unlocks the path forward in the room "The Home Stretch".

The Green Club detonator is located at the end of the room "The Home Stretch". It collapses the back layer and allows for travel across it, as well as unlocking the exit to the room.

Collectables[]

The Spirit is found in the room "Wobbledropped On Your Head", above the layer spring. It is a cup of Ballble Tea resembling Annie, consisting of a green liquid with red tapioca pearls, Red lid and wings, as well as a green straw. It is automatically collected during Happy Hour. You can get it early by performing a hammer bounce and a precise Antomic bomb.

In the room "Daruma Den", use the Tornado transformation to bounce off the right wall of the room, and take it back to the left. Make sure to jump right as you enter the next room, "Wabi Sabi Wallop", and make your way through the newly opened "Daruma with a View" to find the Spray Can.

In the room "Cinnamon Spin", go through the secret entrance at the top left to enter the room "Asinine Aqueduct". Slide around, and you'll eventually collect it.

In the room "Or Swallow", use a small ramp on the left side of the pool containing a Bounce-O-Seal to roll into some pins on the right side of the room, opening the room "Combo Blast Turbo". This is easier during Happy Hour due to blocks being present that make a jump far easier, although it is still possible outside of Happy Hour.

The first Cassette Tape is found by accessing a secret path in the Wobbledropped Your Head, allowing you to bounce on gumdrops and get the tape. In the final game however, this was replaced with a 25K Chip

The second tape is found in Asinine Aqueduct room, which is a hidden hidden room that have the entrance in the Cinnamon Spin room. By jumping to avoid the fall, you will get the second Cassette Tape

The third and last tape is found in a red and black room (similar to Virtual Boy games). By finding a hidden entrance in the blue detonator room, you will find a man hole that will get you in a pink and black room. Then you will be able to collect the last Cassette Tape

Secrets[]

Paul is found in the room "Wobbledrop Elevator". After reaching the top, drop back down and be sure to land next to the second gumdrop from the bottom on the left. Then, jump above it, and crawl into the hole with a little Anton sprayed onto the rock. You will have to clutch to break it open. It will teleport you to a hole to the left of the elevator, where you can jump up and get Paul.

The Red Room can be found in the "Cinnamon Closet" room, but only after the blue detonator has been activated, once you're back at the entrance, clutch jump your way across the pit and enter into the hidden room, after another misadventure with Greg's freind (or not, you choose), head over the the Red Dumpster and enter it.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first level to release that was never before seen in any other Anton game. However, it's music is remixed from Antonball Deluxe's Fudge Mountain theme.
  • This level is present in the Dynamite Demo 2.0, but is absent from the One Blast Demo
  • It is the first level to be released with a transformation, which is the Tornado transformation.
  • After the temple in "You Can Pagoda Hell" is blown up from Happy Hour starting, a ghost resembling of Satan (who seems to be giving a double middle finger) floats up.
  • In the same room. (in the Dynamite Demo 2.0) The player can stop the Wabi Sabi castle's destruction sequence and return to where they entered the room. It causes the player to go to an unused test room, causing a softlock, since the only door in there causes the game to crash which may be the reason why this was excluded in the final demo[1]
  • There is a plotline concerning the friend of a microdemon named Greg who brought Greg with him for a vacation, however Greg is mostly not with him due to him not wanting to look at rocks and stuff like that, it revolves around Greg's friend finding cool looking landmarks and thinking about how Greg would love them, before either Anton or Annie destroys it, causing Greg's friend to be disappointed, upset, and insult Anton/Annie.
  • However, if you choose not to destroy any of the landmarks, once you go to the room containing the Red Room's dumpster, the microdemons will give you a present for having the restraint to not destroy any of them, if you DO destroy all of them, they will say you ruined Greg's vacation and wouls outright insult you for being a overall jerk.
  • In the Dynamite Demo 2.0, the room leading to the Red Room has Punchballs, which is the only time you see them in the demo. They were removed from that room from the final game and only used in the Smallbuster boss and the Antonball secret in Brulo's Casino, sadly they are not interactable anymore.
  • This is the first level where the Spirit is collected during Happy Hour. You can acquire it early before Happy Hour by doing a precise Hammer Bounce if you want though.
  • Before the final release, Cinnamon Springs' Title Card was originally different. Instead of a title saying "Cinnamon Springs" It has a sign that reads "Greetings from Cinnamon Springs" like one of the postcards.
  • The font used in Cinnamon Springs title card is from "Yozakura" by Kotonoha Kuju
  • This level may take place in Japan, as JB Long states this level is based on Japan, and it is one of the 3 real world places in the backburner peninsula.
