Description

Brulo is the owner of the leading (and only) casino in Boiler City. He's always stressed and tired because of his job. He is a supportive character in Antonblast, helping both Anton and Annie in defeating Satan.

Appearance

Brulo is a yellow-skinned balding man with a mustache. His outfit consists of bartender clothes and a blue tie. When talking, his tongue appears green, similar to Anton.

Relationships

Anton

Brulo has banned Anton from his casino in the past for not paying his tabs, but not only does he let him in to deal with the newfound "hellspawn" problem, but he also helps Anton by placing the elevators and detonators in levels.

After beating the game, He Congratulates Anton and unbans him from the casino before Anton gets outta there and Brulo's Casino is Blown Up from the Satan Switch as he Notices too late.

Annie

As seen in Antonball Deluxe, Annie has won the Punchball tournament and Brulo gave her his lifetime supply of Ballble Tea, which is why he hates Annie so much as seen in the game.

Satan

Satan sent his hellspawn minions to wreak havoc across Brulo's businesses. Brulo wants to get even and sees Anton as his chance.

Trivia

• Brulo is divorced, and it's currently unknown to whom he was married before.
• Brulo was originally going to have his own Spin-off game around GBJAM 9 in 2021 titled "Brulo's Insurance Fraud Adventure", but because of real life complications with one of the developers. It ended up being cancelled and never submitted.
• There is a Spray that gives the player Brulo's color scheme, with the descriptions referencing his divorce.
• According to Grayson, Brulo was largely inspired by Principal McVicker from MTV's Beavis and Butthead, as well as other vintage cartoon designs. Brulo's voice performance is very similar to McVicker's as well.
• Brulo is the only character that retains his design from Antonball Deluxe; however he is drawn in the Antonblast style to fit with everything else in the game in terms of appearance.
• In one of Satan's dialogues, he states that Brulo has skeletons in his closet.
